On the podcast I chat with Dr. Gerry Waldron, Assistant Director of Public Health in Northern Ireland on literally his last working day before he retires.
Instead of being a nice, soft, gentle end to his career the last two years have been chaotic for him and his team as they played a pivotal role in managing the pandemic in the north.
We chatted about his career, moving to the north at the height of the troubles, coping with a huge personal bump in the road and of course, Covid and where it is all going.
