After spells with various bands John went solo and a fantastic journey began with a unique songwriting style immersed in a love of places, a love of Irish and a special way of capturing the things and people around him.
He has enjoyed huge success with his songs and they have even been covered by some of the giants of Irish music such as Christy Moore.
